 Jahangir Khan chose his cousin Rehmat Khan as his coach  Rehmat Khan has been the longest in his career  In 1981 at the age of 17, he defeated Jeff Hunt of Australia in the final and won the World Open Squash Championship.


 By winning this tournament  he also became the youngest world open champion in the world  After the success of this tournament the winning streak started so that they remained unbeaten for the next five years  He won 555 matches during the same period.


 The name of this great squash player was included in the Guinness Book of World Records  Not only sound education but his alertness and dedication too are most required.


 The following year  in 1982  he surprised everyone by winning the International Squash Players Association Championship without losing a single point. 


 The winning streak started by Jahangir Khan from 1981 finally came to an end in 1986 after 555 matches when he was defeated by New Zealand squash player Ross.


 For five years in a row the rise that nature had written for Jahangir Khan did not happen to any other player  Jahangir Khan attributes his victory to his coach Rehmat Khan for training him hard to maintain his fitness.


 From 1983 to 1986, he competed in hardball squash in North America and raised the flag of his success here as well  Jahangir Khan's opponent was Mark Taylor the top squash player in North America  In 1986  another Pakistani squash player Jan Sher Khan was named as Jahangir Khan.


 In the first two years Jahangir Khan won against Jan Sher Khan then in the next eight matches he lost to his compatriot Jan Sher Khan  In 1988 Jahangir Khan defeated Jan Sher Khan and ended his winning streak.


 This year  he won 11 out of 15 matches against Jan Sher Khan  Jan Sher Khan was said to be Jahangir Khan's greatest rival  The last time Jahangir Khan won the World Open Tile was in 1988  However his victory over the British continued.


 From 1982 to 1991 he was the winner of the British Open title  which is still a record  The proud squash player retired in 1993  He was awarded the Pride of Performance Medal of Excellence) for his services  He was later awarded the Pakistan Civil Award Hilal Imtiaz.


 Jahangir Khan calls the greatest award for himself this title which was given to him by the nation  namely  Sportsman of the Millennium  the greatest player of the century.


 Explaining the secret of his success and staying fit, Jahangir Khan said that proper diet and two glasses of milk daily were an essential part of his diet.


 We started the day with jogging  The jogging spanned a distance of about 14 km and they had set up two dens for it  Going to the gym in the afternoon to do various exercises  go to the gym and practice, while on Sundays we used to rest completely. 


 Time magazine listed him as Asia Cairo for 20 years  After retirement  Jahangir Khan also served as President of the Professional Squash Federation and President of the World Squash Federation.
