Hell is deep and its taste is very bad  1- It is narrated from Hazrat Ali may Allah be pleased with him that the Messenger of Allah may peace be upon him said: 

Seek refuge in Allah from the valley of grief  What is the valley of grief  He said This is a valley in hell from which hell seeks refuge seventy times a day  Allah has prepared it for the hypocritical readers.

Hell is fierce and its depth is great and its hammers are of iron  Tirmidhi 2/3 2- It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurayrah 

that he said We were with the Messenger of Allah saw  In that time we heard the sound of an explosion We said that Allah and His Messenger know best. 

He said This is a stone which Allah threw down in Hell seventy years ago and now it has reached its bottom Reported by Muslim 1

The shackles of Hell 5 Allah Almighty said Wana atidna ll kafrin silsala Surely We have prepared for the disbelievers a chain and a fire Dahr 4 and shackles and a fire with flames.  

And he said Do you not see that those who argue in the verses of Allah and those who spend in the verses of Allah turn away from them  We sent them with Our messengers to the messengers
