 While a new strain of the corona virus, Omecron, has forced a re-lockdown in many parts of Europe, the United Arab Emirates is a country that has not allowed the new strain of the virus to have much impact and is still attracting tourists.  Is open to


 During this global pandemic, the UAE is fighting Corona better than many other countries in the world due to its vaccination rate as well as extensive and affordable testing facilities.


 The UAE is currently ranked number one in Bloomberg's Code Resilience Rankings.

  The rankings include 12 indicators such as healthcare standards, virus deaths and travel reopening, covering 53 countries.


 That is why, despite the spread of Omekron in Europe once again, the UAE seems to have succeeded in controlling the infection and keeping the country open to tourists.


 Due to epidemics, its most populous city, Dubai, has also transformed itself into a global tourist destination and invested in its community.


 "We all had to work together to protect each other," said Kathy Johnston, chief chocolate officer at Mirzam Chocolate Company, who has lived in the city for more than 30 years. 

 Indigenous peoples are supporting local ideas and projects. 

 Things are a bit slow but moving forward.  Having lived here for two years, it feels like living on another planet and I like it. '
